Evening at the office: “How long were you there? And what materials did you use?” The technician remembers roughly, forgets something, and the invoice ends up lower than the work actually done. On one job that is a few hundred crowns; over a year it adds up to tens of thousands.
A timer right on the job
The job detail and the mobile Field mode have a Start button. The technician taps it when they begin and Stop when they finish. The time is recorded automatically. Forgot? Time can be added by hand and a wrong entry deleted.
- The manager sets an hourly rate and rounding for the job: to the minute, to 5, 15 or 30 minutes, or up to the full hour.
- With time billing switched on, issuing the invoice adds a Work — time spent line (hours × rate).
- Invoiced entries are marked and cannot be deleted, so nothing is billed twice.
- Time is calculated from real elapsed time, so even the switch to summer time does not distort it.
Work report: just say it into your phone
After the job, the technician dictates (or types) what was done: “Replaced the tap under the basin, two and a half hours, three metres of pipe, two elbows.” The app picks out the time spent and the materials with quantities. The technician checks and saves; nothing is saved automatically without review.
The office then prices the materials and marks them For invoice. When the invoice is issued, priced materials are added as items. Unpriced materials never end up on an invoice on their own, so the customer never sees a zero-crown line.
The whole invoice in one click
The Take from job button turns materials, travel and time into invoice items. And because the system knows the real costs, it also shows the job economics: revenue, materials at purchase price, expenses and profit. You see straight away which jobs pay off and where to adjust the price next time.
